Caduceus today announced that it has received a Certificate of Commendation from the Hsinchu County Government. This honor recognizes the company’s outstanding participation in the "2025 Hsinchu County Local Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program" and its successful execution of the project titled "Development of a Digitalized High-Sensitivity Alzheimer's Disease Biomarker Tau Protein Detection Platform." The commendation highlights Caduceus’s exceptional innovation and R&D capability in the field of biomedical diagnostics.

As the global population ages, early screening and precise diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease have become crucial in clinical medicine. Tau protein, a key biomarker for Alzheimer's disease, exists in extremely low concentrations in blood samples, making it difficult for traditional diagnostic methods to detect accurately. Leveraging its core microfluidic and optoelectronic technologies, Caduceus has successfully developed a digital detection platform characterized by exceptional sensitivity and precision. This breakthrough significantly enhances diagnostic accuracy and provides robust technical support for early prevention and clinical diagnostics.

"We are deeply honored to receive this recognition from the Hsinchu County Government," said Caduceus Biotechnology. "The support and validation from the local SBIR program serve as a tremendous encouragement to our R&D team. Moving forward, Caduceus will continue to advance the application of biomedical optical technologies, accelerate the clinical translation and commercialization of our high-sensitivity diagnostic platforms, and contribute to the future of global healthcare."
